Healthcare Update: Friday, April 6, 2018
I'm about 36 hours out of surgery now.
Some pain, but I feel so much better emotionally. I feel like I got some feeling back in my thumbs but it will be about a year before I know how much is permanent damage. I believe I will walk again with Physical and Occupational Therapy.
I have signal damage so I'll have to relearn how to write and compensate for fine motor control but I DEFINITELY came to the right place.
I can't say enough good things about the neurosurgery unit at University of Miami Hospital.
