Judaism is not Zionism

I spoke out about Jews killing Palestinians and you should know that Zionism and Judaism are two different things. When I say I've been doing this a long time, my focus was on marginalized groups such as Blacks. Never in my life did I believe that people in my own country actually wanted to exterminate or deport all Jews. Sure I knew they existed, but I thought it was only in other places. Now they have a new found sense of empowerment, entitlement and legitimacy. Learning how organized they are was quite terrifying. They are smart, they are organized, and they are dangerous.

Censored Report on FaceBook removed by the Alt Right #AltReich

I've received constant harassment on Twitter being trolled by The Alt Right and White Supremacists since 9/11.

It started with Alt Right radicals saying "Jews did 9/11" Then a man posted my photo online about 30 times and circulated it online among neo Nazis simply tagging it "Jew."

Countless people told me that I am not white (news to me) and that America is for Whites only.

I tried to explain that Judaism is a religion NOT a race. I was told they were going to deport me or kill me.

In my entire life, I never knew this kind of hatred towards Jews existed in America.

The Trump campaign seems to have awakened something in the people. Closet racists and bigots started posting swastikas and now that Trump has been elected this behavior has been legitimized by the Establishment.

I didn't believe he could win so I thought they would disappear back under the rock they crawled out of.

Now I'm afraid they may become even more radical and their words may escalate and grow more violent.

This is America. I expect Freedom OF Religion and Freedom FROM Religion.

From the UK via @lesims Lessons Learned from Brexit

FROM THE UK on FaceBook via @lesisms

I was afraid of this... that Trump would win. So many people told me it was impossible, but the UK 'suffered' BREXIT back in the Summer, and most of us (actually, sadly... not most of us... because 'most of them' voted to take us out of the system that had prevented World War III beginning in Europe) were absolutely stunned that the 'impossible' actually happened.

Immediately after BREXIT, there were 'whites' abusing pretty much anyone they didn't believe was British, telling them they had to go home now.

The irony is, they were telling 'non-white's to go home, when their homes were in the UK. So, they were essentially calling for anyone who didn't look white to have free travel in the UK, to get to their homes, in the UK. Free internal travel for Muslims, Jews and anyone else that wasn't a bigoted, fat bastard that loved the England football team and could name its captain for at least four generations.

I'd stand with you, Elyssa.

Trump won because of the same xenophobia that saw BREXIT happen, and though we're not in the majority, now, people like me are with people like you, and there are so many of us - here and in the US, and in the Western world, and on this Earth.

Unfortunately, we have to accept these bizarre results, but we don't have to accept the bigotry and hate.

From the Dark Corners of the Web

I realize many of you are very far removed from dark corners of the Internet where I work with others around the world trying to identify and fight the kind of hatred and intolerance I am speaking of today.

That is not an accident. I have isolated my friends and family from seeing these things because they are indeed scary and hateful.

Tomorrow I'll go back to posting photos of sunset and kittens for those of you still around but for today, try to look through my eyes momentarily and see what's really going on out there.

Recap: Final Thoughts Hindsight is 20/20

Final thoughts:

Before the election I considered the possibility that the rise and reports of hate speech online and real world hate crimes may have been Dems or "crisis actors" posing as Trump supporters to sabotage the election.

The rise AFTER the election, well, can't dismiss that and blame Hillary supporters or OFA trolls and activists.

How you behave now means everything.

Let's show the world we are better than this. Don't succumb to fear mongering, racism and hatred.

Be kind. Words matter.

They don't call us the UNITED States for nothing.
