I can feel people defriending me by the minute. I'm okay with that because the friends I've made throughout the world have become like family to me. We need to learn from your experience with Brexit. I'm not blaming Trump for creating the hatred, you can't breed that level of hatred overnight. These neo Nazis have been around for a long time hiding in the shadows.
Only now have they felt empowered to come forth waving swastikas and advocating for the death or deportation of all Jews from America and around the world.
I'm merely suggesting that the way his campaign was run (e.g. endorsements from the KKK) allowed these people to surface and the election results seem to have legitimized the actions and hatred of the Alt Right.
I think some of this may be in part a knee jerk reaction to Black Lives Matter but I know I'm not the only one trying to understand what has just happened and wondering where we go from here.
[omitted] nope. I'm just plain white Jew. Not even Latina. They may seem one sided today but when I hear of friends and family legit scared I felt compelled to share my experiences. The majority of these people threatening to gas, shoot or deport me are just keyboard warriors like James who do nothing other than rant online. He made it too easy when he started SHOUTING at me. I couldn't help but have a laugh or two at his expense. I'm over here legit lolling and shared his ragey meltdown all over the web so my friends could enjoy it too. 😍😍😍
John Dejana never before have I heard such nonsense and been told that I'm not White. I'm certainly not black so I'm not sure where these people think they're going to deport me? I laugh at ''tis stuff day in and day out, but when I see friends and family reacting with REAL fear, I felt it was time to share my story.
I spoke out about Jews killing Palestinians and you should know that Zionism and Judaism are two different things. When I say I've been doing this a long time, my focus was on marginalized groups such as Blacks. Never in my life did I believe that people in my own country actually wanted to exterminate or deport all Jews. Sure I knew they existed, but I thought it was only in other places. Now they have a new found sense of empowerment, entitlement and legitimacy. Learning how organized they are was quite terrifying. They are smart, they are organized, and they are dangerous.
