Barack Obama played 333 rounds of golf as president, according to CBS News presidential schedule scrutinizer Mark Knoller.

Obama's time on the links drew criticism from his political rivals, including then-private citizen Donald Trump.

Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President Obama spent the day playing golf.Worse than Carter

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump)

Trump on Saturday played what was probably his third round of golf as commander in chief when he left the winter White House at Mar-a-Lago to hit the links in Jupiter with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and two-time U.S. Open champion Ernie Els.

Trump appeared to play two rounds of golf during last weekend's Mar-a-Lago getaway. The White House didn't confirm he was golfing, but Trump wore golf clothes and spent more than four hours at his Trump International Golf Club in unincorporated West Palm Beach last Saturday and again Sunday.

Saturday was Trump's 23rd day in office. Figuring he played two rounds last weekend and another Saturday, he has played a round of golf every 7.7 days he's been president. His schedule for today hasn't been announced.

Obama was president for 2,922 days, so he played a round of golf every 8.8 days he was in office.
