LIVE UPDATES: President Trump hosts Japanese prime minister at Mar-a-Lago
UPDATE, 5:45 p.m.: The White House released the following statement on President Donald Trump's day with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe: "The President enjoyed hosting Prime Minister Abe on the golf course today, which was both relaxing and productive. They had great conversations on a wide range of subjects, and the President looks forward to further discussions with the Prime Minister at dinner this evening."

UPDATE, 4:40 p.m.: President Donald Trump has left his suburban West Palm Beach golf club to return to his Mar-a-Lago Club, where he and the Japanese prime minister will have dinner tonight.
Trump and Prime Minister Abe left the golf course about 4:23 p.m., according to pool reports. The president had been scheduled for calls with the presidents of Tunisia and Colombia at 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., respectively. No updates have been sent about those calls or what Trump may have discussed with either president.
UPDATE, 3:30 p.m.: President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe are now at Trump's golf course in suburban West Palm Beach, after playing a round this morning at Trump's Jupiter course.

UPDATE, 1:30 p.m.: According to press pool reporters, President Trump and the Japanese prime minister are set to travel to Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach.
Trump tweeted that the two world leaders were enjoying themselves on the links Saturday.

UPDATE, 1:00 p.m.: First lady Melania Trump and Akie Abe, the wife of the Japanese prime minister, accompanied one another to the Morikami Japanese Museum and Gardens in Delray Beach early Saturday.
Both women dressed in sophisticated clothes of minimal color for the photo-op, befitting of the vivid garden foliage.

UPDATE, 10:40 a.m.: Pro-life protesters at a Boca Raton Planned Parenthood clinic say they're filled with hope for their cause thanks to the election of President Donald Trump.
By 9:45 a.m., about an hour after the first protesters began lining up along Glades Road, about 120 protesters were on both sides of the street.

One attendee, a Highland Beach resident and retired nurse, told The Post that the stakes are high.
"I'm just hoping that all these babies could live," she said.
Photographers were instructed not to take pictures on the grounds of a "private club."

Original post: Protesters assembled at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter earlier this morning ahead of President Donald Trump's scheduled golf game with Japan's prime minister.
Around 20 people had gathered at the intersection of Donald Ross Road and Alt. A1A by 8:35 a.m., but the president and Shinzo Abe's motorcade did not arrive until 9:30 a.m.

Meanwhile, First Lady Melania Trump and Akie Abe, the Japanese PM's wife, took a walking tour of the Morikami Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach with the gardens' park administrator and chief curator.
According to the White House Press Pool, they were scheduled to make photo-op stops at the James and Hazel Gates Woodruff Memorial bridge at the entrance to the Japanese gardens; the Karesansui Late Rock Garden; and Yamato Island, the site of the garden's bonsai collection.
Last night, the Trumps and Abes dined in the members area of Mar-a-Lago with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, while the American Cancer Society's gala unfolded elsewhere on the property.

Trump didn't let his hosting obligations take him away from Twitter, however. Earlier today he used the platform for his now-customary morning salvo, today recapping the latest news on his travel ban.
