It's official: President Donald Trump is expected in Palm Beach from Friday to Sunday afternoon, according to a town email alert.

The alert said Trump will depart late in the afternoon Sunday, though it did not give an exact time.

All forms of travel will be prohibited on South Ocean Boulevard from its intersection with South County Road to Southern Boulevard at the roundabout. Residents living in the restricted zone will be granted access if they have proper identification.

helipad that is being built at Mar-a-Lago for Marine One could alleviate some traffic due to Trump's motorcade, though it will not change the mandated road closures.

The Palm Beach Police Department previously issued placards to residents who live in the restricted zone to speed up entry time to their homes. The department also reminded drivers who will be on the island during rush hour Friday to stay off their phones and pay attention to the roads.

Trump's trip likely will include a rally in Orlando, and a protest on Saturday.
